The Mayors’ Program for Manchester Children, Inc. is a philanthropic resource committed to making a meaningful contribution towards improving the quality of life for children in the Town of Manchester.
The Mayors’ Program for Manchester Children, Inc. does so by:
- collection, preservation and stewardship of charitable monetary contributions;
- public education concerning its programs and benefits to the community;
- continuous monitoring and identification of the needs of children within the community; and
- making grants and donations to selected projects, program and special situations.
Since 1996, the Mayors’ Program for Manchester Children, Inc. has served thousands of Manchester children – improving the quality of life and supporting the requests of those children in need. All of this is made possible by the generous support of the Mayors’ Trophy Golf Tournament, held annually at Manchester Country Club.
Individuals, families, businesses and organizations, can help through donations and fund-raising opportunities that will enable Manchester children to meet the challenges of life and changing times. The foundation invests and administers these funds, which it uses to award thousands of dollars in grants each year to Manchester children.
Since its inception, The Mayors’ Program for Manchester Children, Inc. has given over $500,000 to Manchester children and has helped promote the programs of many Manchester youth-oriented clubs, organizations and agencies.
The Mayors’ Program for Manchester Children, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit agency separate from the governing body of the Town of Manchester. Contributions are deductible from federal income taxation to the extent permitted by law.
